PN7201 = Nechamkin 16 Piece Starter Chasing Tool Set

This 16 piece chasing tool set is a select grouping chosen from the full 25 piece core set and is perfect for aspiring chasers. This grouping allows a medium range of capabilities for many different chasing motifs and includes two matting texture tools. To expand the range of capabilities, add the 9 piece basic set to complete the 25 piece core set.

Nechamkin Chasing Tools are formed from solid W1 tool steel using old fashioned machinery and skilled hand shaping. The tips are heat-treated in a controlled environment to ensure consistent Rockwell hardness. The 4.25” (108mm) long shanks are square for precision and control superior to that of round. They have chamfered corners and a satin finish for comfort in hand. Each chasing tool is numbered for easy identification. All tool faces are precisely shaped and polished in a manner which allows them to travel smoothly across metalwork. For excellent sight down to the working face, tapers are long and balanced.
