Lortone Rock Tumbling Media - Step 2: Silicon Carbide Medium/Fine (120/220 Grit)
This tumbling grade silicon carbide is perfect for tumbling and general use. These mixed grades provide excellent results at a low cost. Sold in a 1lb. container.

Use this 4 step method for your basic rock tumbling.

Step 1: Coarse - 60/90 Grit Silicon Carbide for initial grinding and shaping of rough stone
Step 2: Medium/Fine - 120/220 Grit Silicon Carbide for smoothing stone surface after initial shaping
Step 3: Pre Polish - Aluminum Oxide to prepare stones for final polish
Step 4: Polish - Ultra-Fine Aluminum Oxide for final polishing on pre-polished stones

Great for use in the Lortone line of rotary tumblers.
