Ferric oxide, also known as iron oxide, is a dull red polish used on yellow metals and stones.
Chrome Oxide will shine brass, copper, bronze, and gold. Mix it with corn cob or walnut shell in a tumbler. Just use a half teaspoon full at a time and run the tumbler. Repeat until the media is coated, adding a tiny bit at a time. Once coated, the media is ready to use.
Caution: Do not dispose of used grit, polish or slurry down a drain.
Ferric Oxide can be very messy.
