Silver Solder Wire – 20 Gauge, 1/4ozt
Join metal like it’s meant to be joined: strong, clean, and dependable.

Whether you’re repairing a favorite ring or crafting your next signature pendant, this silver solder wire gives you the flexibility and strength to achieve crisp, professional joins. It’s available in four “temperatures” (Extra easy, Easy, Medium, Hard), meaning each melts at a different temperature so you can sequence your work without worrying about old joints re-melting.

What you’ll get:
* 20 gauge wire (0.8 mm diameter) so it's easy to snip small pieces for detailed work.
* 1/4ozt weight (5ft), giving you enough solder for multiple small projects.

Four melting-point grades:
* Hard (highest temp) for your first joins.
* Medium for middle seams.
* Easy (low temp) for final tack and delicate work.
* Extra easy (lowest temp) often used in eye glass repair and has a slight yellow tint.

Why hobbyists will love it:
* You can build your piece in stages: start with the Hard solder so your base joins stay in place, then use lower-temp solders for finishing without disturbing earlier work.
* Wire form makes placement simple. Clip small bits, place them where needed, then heat and flow.
* Ideal for silver, silver-based alloys, or mixed metals when you need a clean, low-profile joint that stays hidden and strong.
* Makes repairs less scary: the Easy grade reduces risk of re-melting previous joints and gives you more control.

Pro tip: Use the right grade at each stage. Too high a melting point too early and you risk melting earlier joints; too low and the joint might not be up to the structural job. Clean your surfaces, use proper flux, and keep your flame controlled because even the best solder can only do so much without good prep.

These solders are cadmium-free.

Note: This solder will NOT work with a soldering iron. A torch must be used.
