Sanding detailers are a great way to finish those hard to reach areas.

These pencil-type sanding sticks are shaped for comfort. They were specifically developed for those hard-to-reach sanding jobs.

They feature thumb and finger supports, and hold 1/4" x 12-3/4" aluminum oxide belts. The 6-1/4" x 1/4" sticks are made of impact resistant plastic and have a spring tensioned back to keep the sanding belts firmly in place or allow quick belt rotating or changing.

Unlike other sanding products, the Sanding Detailers give you three different working surfaces and the ability to use the entire length of sanding material. The tapered end can be used for intricate sanding while the flat side and rounded end add to the versatility of the sanding sticks. You also have access to the long, flat sections on the top and bottom of the Sanding Detailer.

3M Micro-Finishing Film is a fast cutting abrasive for precise, uniform, close tolerance finish. High strength polyester film backing and micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral resin is bonded for durability. This material is ideal for gunsmithing, jewelry making, watch repair, and medical devices. This material works well on both metal and plastic.

The sanding sticks in this set are color coded for easy use.

• Orange = 600 grit (15 micron)
• Yellow = 800 grit (14 micron)
• White = 1000 grit (12 micron)
• Blue = 1200 grit (9 micron)
  
  This 24 piece finishing kit includes 4 color coded sticks and 5 belts each in 600, 800, 1000, and 1200 grits.Replacement belts are available for each grit in packages of 5.
