Hoover & Strong's paste flux is for use with gold, silver, and platinum. This borax-based paste flux provides substantial oxide protection. This should be used in addition to a firecoat on the joints to be soldered. This flux becomes clear and fluid at 1100F (600C) which makes it a reliable temperature indicator.
Comes in a 2oz. bottle.
