PL8330 = Tube Cutting Plier by Eurotool

Eurotool Tube Cutting Pliers make it easy for you to hold tubing or small rods while sawing. This version of a ""duck billed"" pliers features a narrow groove down the center of the jaws for a sawblade to follow. Sawing is quick and easy. These pliers hold tubing from 2mm to 10mm in outside diameter. The saw blade slot is 1.0mm wide so it can accommodate most any jewelers' blade.

How do you use these pliers to cut tubing?
Step 1: Open the pliers and place the tube side ways across one of the three notches in plier jaw which is slightly smaller than the diameter of the tube. Decide where on the tube you want to make the cut and position that area over the center of the jaw so that it lines up with the sawblade opening in the jaws.

Step 2: Hold the tube firmly with the pliers but not too hard to damage the tube.

Step 3: Fit a jeweler's saw with a blade. Hold the pliers in on hand and the saw in the other. Place the blade into the saw blade opening in the pliers and begin sawing.
