Miland Anticlastic Forming Pliers by Eurotool Anticlastic refers to a surface that curves in opposite ways in two directions or "saddle-shaped." These beautiful pliers produce a fine, finished curve in a fraction of the time without the use of a dapping tool. One jaw is concave and one jaw convex, each with a second curvature in a perpendicular direction. The "working" part or the jaws is about 1-1/4" long by 3/4" wide. The pliers have an overall length of 8". These stainless steel pliers feature a lap joint and PVC coated handles. There are no leaf springs so that you have greater control over forming. |
