HA8043 = FRETZ-MICHAEL GOOD CP-2 CROSS PEIN HAMMER

Renowned artist and designer Michael Good has teamed up with Bill Fretz to bring you to outstanding planishing hammers perfect for use in anticlastic raising.  This tool was made to Mr. Good's specifications with unmatched quality you have come to expect from a Fretz hammer.

Anticlastic raising is a technique used to form metal sheet with a hammer on a sinusoidal stake, though this hammer can be used on regular stakes or anvils.

An interesting feature of the Michael Good CP-2 Cross Pein hammer is its long, slightly curved head.  This allows you make long arcing blows.  Secondly, two faces deliver different results.  The narrow face is for working on thin, concave curves.  The larger face is heavier and thicker, perfect for heavier materials.  The faces are straight with curved edges.
