This is an excellent Raising Mallet for beginners as well as experienced metalsmiths who want to raise on the micro scale.
Micarta is a resin-based material known for its durability, which is what enables it to be such a fantastic tool for raising metal.
The Micarta Raising Mallet is the ideal size and weight for raising thinner gauge metal, such as 20-22g. The thinner end of the mallet is used for raising, while the fatter end is ideal for bouging.
Machined from Micarta laminate with traditional American-made Hickory handle.
