This is dead soft, 14Kt wire is easy to bend, shape, and hammer. It is used for all types of fabrication including making prongs, forming rings, assembling settings, and more. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening).

5 different sizes of round wire are available
GW16 = 16ga wire (1.25mm / 0.05" dia.)
GW18 = 18ga wire (1.02mm / 0.04" dia.)
GW20 = 20ga wire (0.81mm / 0.032" dia.)
GW22 = 22ga wire (0.63mm / 0.025" dia.)
GW24 = 24ga wire (0.050mm / 0.020" dia.)
