Grobet American Pattern Files
Grobet American Pattern files are uniform in cut to permit fast metal removal. Extremely durable and balanced, each file is the product of a long tradition of superior craftsmanship combined with advanced technology.
Every file is heat treated to exacting standards to provide top performance and long life.
The flat file is very commonly used for rapid removal of material. Both broad sides are double cut (teeth cut in both directions). Both edges are single cut (teeth cut in one direction).
This 6" long file (8" including the tang) tapers in width from 14.5mm down to 10.5mm at the tip. The files thickness is approximately 3.9mm.
