Invented by a jeweler, the "WHIP" (wire handled instrument for pouring) is ideal when using small melting dishes. They are made of high quality steel wire that can withstand the heat of a torch.
The whip designed to be reverse-action where it grips the crucible firmly when closed and the handle must be squeezed to open. Note the whip is steel and will become hot under a torch flame so please use protective gear when using.
This model holds the 24oz (480dwt) melting dish.
Total length is 12-3/4". Melting dish not included.
