Specially fluted for Florentine texturing and decorative surface finishing.
These carbide burs are designed to create bright directional line textures commonly used for Florentine finishes on jewelry and metalwork. Depending on technique, they can produce fine parallel lines or layered, cross-hatched effects with a reflective, textured appearance.
Carbide construction provides clean cutting and long tool life when used in a flex shaft or micromotor at appropriate speeds. The exact finish will vary depending on bur shape, metal type, pressure, speed, and direction of use.
Florentine burs are also available as Goldies.
Goldies feature a Titanium Nitride coating for enhanced wear resistance and are guaranteed a minimum of 3× longer tool life.
