Rawhide Mallets

Garland Rawhide Mallets are used in metal working when the work cannot be marred. They were designed for use on broad-faced striking surfaces. A great use in the jewelry industry is for rounding ring shanks on steel mandrels.

The heads are made of the finest quality, tough, long-wearing, water buffalo rawhide embedded in shellac. The heads are held in place with screws, not nails or staples like cheaper import mallets. The handles are hickory.
