Miland Synclastic Forming Pliers by Eurotool
Synclastic refers to a surface that curves to the same side in all directions.
These beautiful pliers produce a fine, finished curve in a fraction of the time without the use of a dapping tool. One jaw is concave with a second curvature in a perpendicular direction. The other jaw is a half sphere.
The "working" part of the concave jaw is about 1-1/8" long by 5/8" wide. The half-sphere jaw is 5/8" in diameter (max). The pliers have an overall length of 8".
These stainless steel pliers feature a lap joint and PVC coated handles. There are no leaf springs so that you have greater control over forming. |
