Solid steel mandrels for working on rings. Perfect for forming and shaping. The steel is strong enough to handle blows from a hammer when shaping or sizing. This mandrel features engraved markings for ring sizes 1 to 15 (US) in 1/4 sizes.
As with all PEPE Tools products, these mandrels are made with uncompromising quality for the price.
How uncompromising?
The mandrel is made of steel hardened to 44 hRc. That is hard enough not to be dented by missed hammer blows. The mandrel is also nickel and chrome plated them polished to a beautiful finish. The sizes measured to exacting ISO standards making it arguably the most accurate ring mandrel in the world.
