Penny Brite Gel
A biodegradable, environmentally friendly cleaner for copper, brass, and silver. Restores metals to their originally luster. Great for removing tarnish and fire scale from soldering.
Go "green" when cleaning your precious metals. Penny Brite contains food-grade citric acid in a phosphate-free soap. You can rinse it down the sink without worries.
This gel form clings to surfaces, letting artists put Penny Brite® only where it's needed. Flip-top squeeze bottle offers extra control during application. Simply apply Penny Brite with the damp sponge or cloth applicator and rub with a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry completely.
The manufacturer of Penny Brite states on the label to avoid using this product on silver. This refers to cutlery (forks and spoons) that is often silver plated. Acids can "eat" through the plating. Using Penny Brite on sterling silver is ok.
