This is a simple and economical way of enlarging rings. The ring slides over the stepped collet, the solid mandrel is inserted into the collet, and struck with a hammer to expand the collet and thus the ring.
Great for when a rings is a bit too snug.The steps on the stretcher correspond to the ring sizes of 7, 8, 9-1/2, 11, 12-1/2, 14 and 16.
Not designed to stretch a ring a significant amount. Do not use on stone set rings.
