GRS BenchMate
The GRS BenchMate is arguably one of the most innovative and versatile work holding systems in the Jewelry Industry. It is durable, convenient and sturdy.  It can not only streamline but even transform they way you work at your bench.

The heart of any BenchMate system is the clamp tool and its accompanying mounting plate.  Use the clamp the way you would a ring clamp or any hand held vise.  Hold items while filing, sanding, polishing, setting and more.

The GRS BenchMate Clamp
The BenchMate is a hand-held vise, but not just any hand-held vise.  If you took a ring clamp and put it into a time machine and sent it off into the distant future so that scientists and engineers could then make their own futuristic tool and return it back to you, that is the kind of tool the BenchMate is.  Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating, but is it very impressive.

The BenchMate clamp is a virtually indestructible metal ring clamp that features non-marring, hard plastic jaws.  The bottom of the clamp rotates to open and close the jaws.  The tool is mounted on a rotating, steel bracket that can be held securely in almost any position in just seconds.  Moving the BenchMate takes virtually no effort.  The rotating points have Teflon bearings for smooth motion and long life.  It can securely hold even the most delicate parts.  It comes with a right side arm rest for comfort or holding a hand steady while working.  The arm rest even has a mounting slot for a GRS Soldering Third Hand.

The GRS Mounting Plate
The BenchMate mounts to your workbench using a steel mounting plate.  This mounting plate (included) is precision machined to hold the BenchMate securely without any wobble.  If it moves, it's your bench that's the problem!  The mounting plate should be screwed directly to your workbench in a central, comfortable position. 

An ingenious design of the BenchMate system as a whole is the way everything mounts to your workbench.  The mounting plate will become the point where you can mount all of the other BenchMate products.  All BenchMate attachments (solder boards, vises, bench pins, etc.) have a bracket that fits the GRS mounting plate precisely.


The GRS BenchMate Encore QC Basic Package
The GRS BenchMate Encore launches the next generation of efficient, versatile workholding tools. These innovative updates to an industry standard provide better and faster methods for everyday work.

Work is held steadily in place yet easily repositionable to accommodate a range of techniques and jobs. The new BenchMate Encore QC arm measures 6" and has a cutout for superior access angles and better clearance when using tools. Adjust the relieved arm to a lower or higher vertical position for maximum comfort and control. The handrest can be quickly attached to either side.

Switch fixtures in a flash with updated Quick Change design. Drop and lock the QC fixture into the BenchMate Encore mandrel with no additional tools.

This BenchMate kit includes the following:
