 Firefly
Studios is a new venture for learning, located in beautiful Winter Park,
Florida and founded by FDJ On Time. Offering a variety of jewelry
making and metalsmithing classes, workshops and events for all levels of
experience and interest in a creative and welcoming environment.
Classes are added throughout the year to be sure to check back often or
join the mailing list to stay informed. |
The creative reins of Firefly Studios are
held by Sonja Marshall-Bone.
With most that follow a creative path,
Sonja's background includes experience with many different mediums.
Her career in the creative arts began as a potter while attending
college for fine art. For the last 18 years, she has freelanced as
a graphic designer and art director for clients such Universal Studios
Florida, Walt Disney, Tupperware and The United Way.
As a jewelry artist, her work combines
the integrity of fine art and the design principles inherent in the
graphic design field. Her goal is to create jewelry that expresses
integrity and coherence by combining elements of shape, color and
texture in seemingly effortless relationships. Sonja participates in
juried art shows throughout the country, sells online and does custom
work for select clients. She lives, works and teaches in Winter
Park, personally designing and hand-crafting each piece.
