Round Ceramic Firing Vessel
The large ceramic firing vessel is 4" tall and 5-5/8" in diameter.  It holds 10oz of activated carbon. Use this ceramic vessel for firing metal clay that requires activated carbon such as BronzClay.
 
Important Guidelines for Preventing Thermal Shock:
  1. Allow temperature to drop to 900°F
  2. Open kiln door or lid approximately 1 inch and leave open until the temperature falls below 600°F
  3. You can remove the vessel below 600°F, or allow it cool completely.
  4. To avoid injury use metal tongs when removing a ceramic firing vessel from a kiln.
